Here is the latest update for the Pickleball Club:

Condolences: It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Martha Cesario, wife of pickleball club member Bob Mecklenburg, on April 2^nd. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 8^th at the Sun City Center Funeral Home.

Maintenance Update: We still do not have a firm date for the resurfacing of our courts. As soon as the CA gives us the date it will be passed to the members. During the time of this maintenance, there will be NO group play (in other words, all open play from 7 am until 10 pm).

New Twist to Pizza Night Socials: Implementing a suggestion from the spring membership meeting, we are trying a new pairing system for the social this Tuesday, April 8^th. We will still draw cards for partners, but courts 1-4 will be for social play and courts 5-8 will be for competitive play. If this method is successful, we will implement it for lunch socials as well. Come out and join the fun!

Pickleball Clinics: April’s schedule is now on SignUp Genius. Lightning clinics will be taught Mondays and Wednesdays as indicated online. If you are interested in private or group lessons beyond the lightning clinics, please contact Greg Eisman at 985-285-6267.
